I’ve signed up for my first 5K run on April 24 in Oak Grove.

My wakeboarding friend, LB, is a teacher at a local elementary school and this run benefits the Hope House. So here goes nothing.
I haven’t even officially finished the C25K program. I am on Week 8 and need to do one more run before Week 9. I’ve decided I hate tread mill running so much that I won’t do it while I’m traveling so last week I hit the elliptical instead. So tonight I’ll get back on the horse and finish Week 8 so I can get through Week 9 and be an official graduate of the C25K program.
Cec, please don’t be offended that I opted for this 3.2 mile run before the Trolley Run with you. 4 miles is sort of a big deal…I gotta crawl before I can walk :)

yay! congrats on signing up, that is the first step! =) when i first signed up to do a 5K i couldn't run more than a quarter mile straight, i did the couch potato to 5K program and i really liked it! good luck!
